INSTRUCTIONS TO PREPARE A PAPER

1. The Editorial Board is considering papers that correspond to the scientific profile of the journal. The papers should not be published earlier and not transferred into editorial boards of other journals. The agreement about the transferring copyright to publish the paper must be completed and signed by all authors. (http://oim.by/en/Journal_en/new_url_1139247217/).

2. The receiving by editorial board paper are sent for review to specialists. The main criteria of acceptance are scientific novelty, practical significance, and theme actuality. Paper prologue should contain the description of an investigated problem with the analysis of previous publications (and not only works of authors) as well as a statement of a problem which is solved by authors. Offered new methods should be accompanied by examples of their application with initial data on which calculations are carried out. In Papers containing calculated models and methods the substantiation and description of mechanical model should precede to calculations and the mathematical model. In the results of experimental investigations and calculations with the using computer programs authors should given the characteristics of the research (testing) equipment, software. The formulated conclusions in a final part should follow from a paper material.

3. The Paper should be presented to the Editorial Board in Russian or English language and will be published on the presenting language.

4. Materials are submitted in hard copy (14-point type, one-and-a-half line spacing). Materials are submitted in hard copy (14-point type, one-and-a-half line spacing). Simultaneously the paper is presented in electronic *.doc or *.rtf format of text editor Microsoft Word 2003 for Windows.

5. As a rule, the paper including figures, tables and references must not exceed 12 pages (with the exception of invited papers and reviews). The first page of paper contains: UDC, initials and surname of the author (s), title, name of the organization which he represents, the title of the paper (all - in capital letters). Then the followed items are: abstract (100-150 words), keywords (not more than ten), text articles, a list of symbols, references, list of captions.
 
6. Figures, tables, formulas, equations, appearing in the paper should be numbered in the order mentioned in the text.

7. Figures are submitted as separate files: for bit-map images - color model is grayscale, resolution at least 300 dpi in a format *. tif or *. psd; for vector illustrations in format *. cdr or *. eps. Figure width should be 80 mm or 165 mm. Inscriptions in the figures should be replaced with numbers and symbols explained in the captions.

8. Multiline formulas should be typed in the formula editor Microsoft Equation Editor, aligned, and the number of formulas are placed on the right. Numbered only formulas that are referenced in the text. Private lowercase Greek and other special characters (such as math) are typed in the text without using a headset Symbol Equation Editor.
At a set of formulas and letter designations the following rules should be considered: Greek and Russian letters is directly recruited, mathematical symbols, symbols of chemical elements, the indices (upper and lower), which are reduced words, in italics are typed the Roman letters - variables, symbols of physical quantities (including and in the index); the vectors are typed in bold (arrows at the top are not put.)

9. References are to be cited at the end of the paper on a separate page with full bibliographic information in the original transcription. List of references should correspond to the order of their occurrence in the text. References on unpublished works are prohibited.

10. Articles not meeting the requirements of Editorial Board wouldn't be accepted and may be returned to the authors. The date of receipt is considered to be the day when the Editorial Board receives the full set of documents including the author’s final paper.

11. The articles containing investigation results obtained in organizations of the Republic of Belarus should have a corresponding permission for publication.

12. The authors should give following information: surname, first name, patronymic name, full address with the zip/postal code for correspondence, organization and position, home and office telephones, fax, e-mail.
