The features of curvilinear movement of roadtrain are considered in the article. The typical ways of curvilinear movement are marked out. The mathematical description of curvilinear movement and computer model of the roadtrain in the MSC.ADAMS environment are given. Received estimated results of an experimental research and simulation for the purpose of checking computer model adequacy.

Sabaleuski A.K., Algin V.B., Pirch A.I. Enhancement of the middle-load truck fuel consumption by using a hybrid power unit and optimization of the control system
The review of parallel hybrid power unit configurations is presented and selection of a two-shifted configuration of a parallel hybrid power unit for middle-load truck for urban conditions is grounded. A power flow management strategy for the hybrid power unit implementing optimization of management of the hybrid power unit basic elements according to criteria of fuel consumption minimization is formulated. Comparative simulation of the hybrid electric truck with MATLAB/Simulink software in order with European urban drive cycle is carried. Results of the simulation give an opportunity to appraise the effectiveness of the hybrid power unit controllers. The advantages of the power flow management algorithm are shown. Introduced system can be used in projecting the hybrid electric vehicles on a basis of native producers’ assays.

We give an assessment of the proportion of the estimated energy lost during braking of the city vehicles moving at regular stops. We suggest a method of saving energy (or greater part of it) with the subsequent recuperation in the next cycle through flywheel and mechanical stepless transmission installed between the flywheel and the vehicle cardan shaft.

Sergienko V.P., Bukharov S.N. Vibroacoustic activity of the frictional pair depending on the dynamic characteristics of their materials
The paper presents investigation results in the effect of structure and composition of frictional materials used in vehicle brake and transmission designs on their dynamic characteristics and vibroacoustic activity of friction joints. The data are reported on the dependence of dynamic characteristics upon the polymer matrix type, fibrous filler orientation and geometry, degree of binder solidification, and the presence of matrix phase plasticizers. It is shown that damping ability depends much on the load and temperature operation parameters, and may vary within a wide range in response to the material composition and structure. Damping ability of frictional materials has been studied in respect to its influence on vibration and noise generation and levels in the friction units. Test results of dry clutch on inertial dynamometer are cited that have supported the possibility of the effective reduction of vibroacoustic activity of the friction units by way of choosing optimal composition and structure of the friction material for friction pairs.

The thickness of cylinder liner for explosion engine on criterion of strength with account of friction process is evaluated.

The thermal operation regime of a multidisc oil-cooled brake of a dump truck has been analyzed at its motion in a slow-down mode along a continuous downgrade. The initial boundary value problem for the considered operation re-gime of the brake has been formulated and solved by the finite)element method. The formation regularities of a nonstationary temperature field in the brake disc pack have been determined. A dependence was obtained between the maximal temperature on the friction surface of a most heat-loaded friction pair versus dump truck speed and coolant consumption.

The paper is devoted to free vibrations of a flowing fluid — filled cylindrical shell reinforced by a cross system of ribs in on elastic medium. Frequency equations of vibrations of the considered system are constructed and numerically realized. It is shown that frequencies of vibrations of the system decrease due to increase of velocity.

The paper considers prestressed long cylindrical shell, outer surface of which is subjected to corrosion. It is supposed that initial stress is generated in two ways and corrosion brings to the change of outer surface radius. Assuming that corrosion rate depends on initial stress, the time of complete wear of outer surface for each of the both ways is determined.

Vibrations of a beam with attached dynamic absorbers are considered. Assuming neighborhood of fundamental frequencies of the dampers to frequencies of the controlled modes of the beam vibrations, by using the multiple-scale method over time, an approximate solution of the equations governing vibrations of the «beam-dampers» system is constructed.

Schetnikovich K.G. Influence of the tool pressure upon the position of the instantaneous axis of rotation of the ball during the finishing between the two rings and the plate
The differential equations of movement of the ball with the account of the cage resistance have been compiled. The cohesive and friction forces acting on the balls in the machining zone during the sliding over one and two surfaces of contact with the tool have been determined. The dependence between the loads on the rings and angle of tilt of the instantaneous axis of rotation of the ball has been obtained.

The reconstructed middle ear consisting of a thin annular plate made of cartilage and a T-type inclined prosthesis replacing the malleus-incus-stapes chain and interposed between the stapes base and the artificial eardrum is considered. A system of non-linear differential equations describing free radially non-symmetric vibrations of the system is derived. The natural frequencies of the system in the case of linear vibrations are investigated.

The simplified technique of mechanical characteristics of tricot, based on structural element extraction, is developed. The given technique differs from earlier known for relative simplicity of a mathematical description and possibility to predict strength parameters of tricot. The results the developed technique and experimental data about strength of tricot defined by a method «press through by a ball» are compared.

Some problems on optimization of layer in the view of temperature and creepiness of skeleton is solved.
