A FORMING OF DUMP TRUCKS CHASSIS POWER LOADINGS
The experimental determination problems of loads in BELAZ mining dump truck chassis are considered. Statistic analysis of field test data is carried out. Linear dependence of the suspension lateral forces is estimated and experiment-calculated method of the force assessment in the central spherical joint of front and rear conventional suspensions is proposed.

NON7STATIONARY TEMPERATURE MODE OF THE DIESEL ENGINE
The factors causing an overheat of a tractor diesel engine are considered. Process of heat exchange in system of cooling is analysed at a non-stationary temperature mode. It is offered to estimate an overheat of a diesel engine in factor of an overheat. The equation is presented, allowing to define an ambient temperature at which the stationary temperature mode of a diesel engine is provided. A number of the constructive decision promoting increase of a system effectiveness of cooling is offered.

ESTIMATION OF PARAMETERS OF RELIABILITY OF LATERAL FRAMES AND OVER SPRING BEAMS OF CARRIAGES OF FREIGHT CARS
Questions of an estimation tensely - deformed conditions of lateral frames of carriages such as ÖÍÈÈ-Õ3 and models 18-100 of freight cars are considered. It is shown, that destruction of frames from normalized operational loadings is improbable. Destruction of them is possible only in extreme conditions when in operation there are critical loadings, and deterioration an aperture of axle box achieves a limiting condition at which a skew of wheel pairs causes additional growth of pressure in dangerous sections and when in zones of high pressure of frames foundry defects get. Therefore processes of destruction of lateral frames casual also arise suddenly from an adverse combination of the specified factors. On materials of statistical distribution of damages of lateral frames and over spring beams probabilities of non-failure operation of details which testify are found, that at service life in 35 years reliability of details is sufficient and makes P (t=35)=0,9976.

RESEARCH IN SELF-BOOSTING DISC BRAKES FOR HEAVY VEHICLES
Development of the analytical and practical scientific decisions is considered in the paper to increase the efficiency of automotive brake systems due to reduction of hysteresis losses and creation of perspective disk brake designs with self-boosting. The modification of disc brake design with self-boosting is proposed for heavy vehicles. The simulation models of the conventional disc brake and brake with self-boosting are developed using MSC.ADAMS software and virtual simulation of these models is carried out.

ON BIFURCATION OF THIN CORRUGATED SHELL WITH AN ELASTIC FILLER UNDER ACTION OF NON-UNIFORM HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE
The problem of buckling of a thin corrugated shell with elastic filler under action of the non-uniform hydrostatic pressure is considered. The influence of the elastic filler is taken into account as the additional pressure within the framework of Winkler’s model. The semimoment equations of the thin elastic shell theory are assumed as the governing ones. The rigid clamped conditions are considered at the edges of the shell. Assuming that the hydrostatic pressure depends upon the circumferential co-ordinate, solutions of the governing equations are constructed in the form of functions decaying far from some generator on the shell surface. Using the complex WKB-method, the boundary-value problem is reduced to the sequence of the one-dimensional boundary-value problems. The equation for the critical normal pressure has been obtained. The influence of parameters of corrugation of the shell on the critical pressure has been analyzed.

The paper contains the results of investigation of elastic and viscous properties of rubber-like materials with orientational order. The elastic properties are described with the help of the introduced microscopic Cauchy–Green tensor. The obtained results describe the nonlinear elastic properties well and predict the existence of the soft modes. In the theory of viscous properties the approved model for the time correlation function of the microscopic stress tensor is used.

The possibility of stabilization for unstable rotation of the Lagrange top with ideal fluid by means of rotating rigid bodies is shown in the limits of necessary conditions of stability. Theoretical dependences permitting to define normal tensions in a cross-section of woodworking tools at the start-time of cutting with a sharp knife under different schemes of front surface load are developed. The leading factor determining the value of normal tensions arising in the cross-section of a wedge-knife from tangent (hogging) cutting force are discovered. The analysis of the previously developed formulas for defining the grade of the knife’s tip winding is presented.
