THE DESIGN METHOD TO MATCH THE ENGINE CHARACTERISTICS WITH TRANSMISSION PARAMETERS FOR HIGHWAY TRUCK TRAIN
The present publication reveals the design method of matching the engine characteristics with kinematic parameters of transmission with purpose to improve traction properties and fuel efficiency of the highway truck train. The sense of this method is to use the matched multi-parametrical engine characteristic, the engine load applied from road, traction characteristics and the efficiency of truck train. The version of KAMAZ train developed on basis of calculated results and suggestions revealed 15…18% decrease of fuel consumption, as compared with basic model, with higher up to 6…8% travel speed.

THE DYNAMIC LOADING OF THE SOIL FROM THE ACTIVE LOADS OF VEHICLE AND TRACTOR UNITS
The compaction of the soil from the active loads of vehicle and tractor units is considered. The mathematical model of dynamic interference of the «wheeled unit – soil» system allowing for the parameters of the tractor vibration system, the rheological model of the soil and the unevenness of the relief of the base surface which permets to determine the soil density changes from the active leads at the stage of the design is suggested.

A METHOD OF CALCULATING A TIME-VARYING VOLUME OF COMBUSTION PRODUCTS IN THE CYLINDRICAL CHAMBER
A method of calculating a volume of combustion products when a flame spreads in the closed cylindrical chamber is developed, assuming that the front is spherical for two positions of an ignition source: at the end (central ignition) and cylindrical (side ignition) walls of the combustion chamber. Universal formulas for the volume of combustion products are obtained with regard to the changes in the flame front shape and the combustion chamber geometry allowing a mixture burning rate and a heat release characteristic to be investigated. Based on the analysis of the experimental data, the dependences of the change in the volume of combustion products on time and flame front radius are obtained for fuel—air mixtures with a volume fraction of hydrogen from zero to 14 % at stoichiometry coefficients ?=0.8, 1.

CALCULATION OF A HYDRODYNAMIC COMPONENT OF BEHAVIOUR OF HEAT-TRANSFER AGENT IN THE MAIN PIPELINES
The design procedure of installation is developed for an estimation of behaviour of heat-transfer agent in the main pipelines, as distributed parameter systems. The description is based on two equations Navie-Stokes and the indissoluble environment equation. The solution is two equations of speed and pressure. At calculation of system of the equations it is based on with use of dependence of density from temperature and pressure and a derivative of pressure on density. Search of the given components is based on temperature of heat-transfer agent in the set point of the pipeline based on a balance equation of heat amount in the pipeline, in view of available thermal losses, properties of the insulating materials.

INFLUENCE OF NANO-ADHESION FOR ELASTICITY MODULUS OF POLYMER NANOCOMPOSITES
There has been shown the existence of nano-adhesion effect in the disperse-filled polymer nanocomposites, which significantly influences the decrease of thermal expansion coefficient and the increase of elasticity modulus. The degree of nanocomposites’ reinforcement has been stated to be influenced by the properties of polymer matrix, nanofiller and the degree of interphase adhesion.

LAPPING OF BALLS MADE OF HARD-MAGNETIC SINTERED MATERIAL
Construction of the instrument for lapping of the balls between coaxially installed lower drive disk and two rings (internal and external) is described. The internal ring is connected with rotary drive and provided with a conical bevel. The external ring is immovable and provided with ring groove for the balls disposition. During the processing the balls are moved along the ring path formed by four surfaces of the instrument having different velocities. Significant increase of the ball sliding velocity relative to the instrument allows to decrease the contact load on the balls and increase quality of the balls surface. Continuous position change of the instantaneous axis of the balls rotation provides high quality of the processing. Results of experimental investigations of the lapping process applied to the balls made of the hard-magnetic sintered material KC37 are presented.

DEFORMATION AND DESTRUCTION OF ELASTIC RIGID ENVIRONMENTS AT INFLUENCE OF WAVES OF DEFORMATIONS
There is shown, that force or kinematics influence on elastic deformable environments causing in last wave of deformations, can have a wide range of consequences, down to occurrence of destruction zones of a material in paper. Thus in situations of occurrence of waves of deformations of the large amplitude under certain conditions can result joint or periodic influence of «insignificant» loadings. The examples of the solution of model tasks are given in paper. The prospects of process of controlled influence of waves of deformations on a condition of rigid environments and creation of applied technologies in various areas of the modern mechanics are described.

EFFECT OF VISCO-ELASTICITY OF AN ORTHOTROPIC ARTERIAL WALL ON PULSE-WAVE PROPAGATION
The problem of harmonic pressure wave propagation through a viscous fluid contained in a thin visco-elastic orthotropic tube is considered. To take into account visco-elasticity of the tube the linear visco-elasticity model is used. The computations have shown that taking into account the tube visco-elasticity leads to decrease of the phase velocity and transmission per wavelength.
